The Distro Debate…

Today I happened to read a couple of interesting articles about that attempt to explain what the latest linux distro Ubuntu is and what it is not.

Makes an interesting read and a much more interesting debate though not like the Mac vs Windows or Windows vs Linux. This is about one distro vs another.

What I think is that a free OS, shipped free of cost to any country is definitely a plus. But connecting to the internet during the install and the installer dying for lack of connectivity (I had experienced this while installing Ubuntu) is a minus. I am not sure if there are others who have experienced this. Overall I feel it is a better distro for a noob.
